Chelsea are ready to offer Tammy Abraham to Everton in order to re-sign Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.
The Sun claim that Antonio Conte’s ‘ideal outcome’ would be to allow the 19-year-old striker a loan move to Goodison Park, while Lukaku arrives at Stamford Bridge in return.
Everton have ramped up their interest in Abraham and Ronald Koeman has sent the club’s director of football, Steve Walsh, to monitor the striker.
Abraham is currently on a season-long loan with Bristol City and has scored 26 goals in 46 appearances for the Championship club.
Everton would be keen on a permanent deal and would be able to offer Abraham an opportunity to make his mark in the Premier League.
Abraham has also attracted interest from Brighton and Leicester City.
Everton have reportedly valued Lukaku at £100m but a player in exchange would drive down the Belgian’s hefty price tag.
