CHELSEA will complete the signing of Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour.
Rangers struck a £600,000 deal with the Premier League leaders last month for the 15-year-old midfielder.
Despite that, the Scottish giants had hoped to convince Gilmour to stay at Ibrox.
But, according to The Scottish Sun, Gilmour and his family have indicated he will join Chelsea.
It represents quite the coup for Chelsea with Arsenal and Barcelona also sniffing around.
Rangers would have been due just £90,000 compensation had Gilmour left Ibrox in the summer when he turns 16.
Gilmour impressed on a trial spell with Chelsea earlier this season and can officially make the move when he turns 16 on June 11.
He has trained with Rangers’ first team this season and was included in the squads for cup wins against Morton and Hamilton.
