Press Conference – Conte provides injury update ahead of Man United clash

ANTONIO CONTE has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the Manchester United clash.

Chelsea face Manchester United on Monday night in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

And Conte will have his full compliment to select from.

“Until today all my players are available,” Conte said. “Tomorrow and Sunday, two training sessions and I hope to have all my players in the best condition.”

Chelsea have been incredibly injury-free for much of the season allowing the Italian to pick almost the same side every week as they hurtle towards the Premier League title.

And Conte looks set to bring the big boys in for the FA this week having rested a number of player in previous rounds, althoug he says he is yet to pick his side.

He added: “I have to decide the starting 11 and for sure I try to make the best decision for the team. We want to be in the next round like Manchester United.”

Chelsea beat Manchester United 4-0 on their last trip to London and Jose Mourinho and Conte were involved in a disagreement on the touchline.

The Special One has warned the Blues he will start a strong side at Stamford Bridge.

But Conte doesn’t think his players will be impacted by Mourinho’s mind games ahead of the showdown.

He said: “The most important thing is the pitch, to prepare in the right way.

“To talk football and to improve my players, this is the most important things.

“I don’t know [if it gets to players]. My players and I are focused on the game, the pitch and the work and try to improve every day and this is very important.

“It is strange to ask me this, the mind games don’t win the game.”

Conte has also revealed he hasn’t spoken to Mourinho since Chelsea beat United 4-0 in the Premier League in October.

“I have shown in my period at Chelsea, and every team I have managed, that I live the game with a great passion.

“I want to share that with my players, staff and with the fans. That is normal. We are not in the same way. The most important thing is to win.

“I don’t think that it is important, nothing we need to clarify with him [Jose].”
