ANTONIO CONTE has sounded out Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci about a money-spinning switch to Chelsea this summer.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is also keen on the Italian international.
Yahoo Sport report Bonucci is ready to quit Juventus this summer – prompting interest from the Premier League heavyweights.
The 29-year-old had a bust-up with boss Massimiliano Allegri last month.
Bonucci has a furious touchline row with his manager but claims to have now patched things up.
But Yahoo claim the star defender is ready to pack his bags this summer if Allegri stays.
Allegri has been linked with Barcelona and Arsenal after impressing during his three years in Turin.
And if he’s snapped up, Bonucci could yet decide to stay with Juve.
But City and Chelsea could both offer the centre-back big money to move to England.
Bonucci signed a new contract in December worth around £1.4m-a-year – and he’d earn much more in the Premier League.
A transfer fee worth around £50m could also appeal to Juventus for the ageing defender.
John Stones moved from Everton to Man City for £47.5m last summer and Bonucci would cost more – with the £50m barrier likely to be broken.
Conte worked with Bonucci at Juve and the Italian national team so could hold sway over rival Guardiola.
The Italian could draft in his countryman as a replacement for John Terry, whose playing days at Stamford Bridge look to be over.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is also said to ‘admire’ the player.
