VICTOR MOSES reportedly picked up an injury in Monday night’s win against Manchester United.
The 26-year-old wing-back was replaced by Kurt Zouma after 89 minutes of the FA Cup quarter-final clash.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, Moses is suspected to have suffered a calf strain.
And Chelsea’s medical team are assessing the extent of his injury.
The Nigeria star could miss up to three weeks which would rule him out of upcoming international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
A trip to Stoke is next up for Premier League leaders Chelsea on Saturday so Moses is likely to be unavailable.
In his absence, Zouma could take Moses’ place in the starting XI with Cesar Azpilicueta taking up his preferred right wing back role.
However, one of Pedro or Willian could also fill up the wing-back position if the need ever arise for Conte.
Chelsea host Crystal Palace after the international break so Moses would hope to be fit to face his former club.
