There`s no doubting that Islam Feruz is a talented footballer.
Brought to Chelsea from Celtic, the 21-year-old is currently one of a group of Chelsea players who are on loan with Swindon Town.
However, young Feruz seems to be content to flout the law when it comes to driving a motor car.
Already banned, Feruz has been in the dock again and has been treated appropriately by the Scottish legal system after being caught driving whilst disqualified.
Feruz, on a night out in Glasgow, was stopped by the police and subsequently charged with ‘driving whilst disqualified` and ‘without any insurance`.
As a result, Feruz has picked up further punishment, from the Justice of Peace Court in Glasgow, which amounts to being fined £3000 and being banned for a further 18 months.
As for the car he was driving whilst committing these offence, it was a Porsche valued at £80,000.
Another charge of telling people he was someone else was dropped.
At a time when, under Antonio Conte, Chelsea`s image has improved dramatically, let`s hope someone takes Feruz aside and, although these offences took place before Conte took over at the helm, someone has a stiff word with the young striker!
