Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Romelu Lukaku in recent days, and now it seems they have their eyes on another Everton player as well.
Antonio Conte is a fan of Ross Barkley, and is considering bringing him and Lukaku to the Bridge, in a £100 million spending spree this summer.
Of course, Everton would be seriously reluctant to sell their two brightest stars, but the lure of the money for the club and the chance to win titles for the players may prove too strong, at least in the case of Lukaku.
Of course, come next season, Chelsea will be defending their title, and want more competition in their squad, and players that Antonio Conte sees as his men.
The likes of Michy Batshuayi have not settled at the club in terms of breaking into the first team, and while he may have mixed well with the dressing room, the all important man to impress – Conte – is not a fan.
There are also understandable doubts over the future of Cesc Fabregas, who has shone when given the chance, but is simply not a guaranteed starter under Conte.
With arrivals in the summer, there will certainly be exits to boot, and Chelsea have a plethora of players who could attract attention from any side in Europe.
