EDEN HAZARD has been ruled out of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Stoke today (3pm).
Eden Hazard, 26, has been resurgent for Chelsea this season under Antonio Conte, scoring 11 goals in 26 Premier League games.
However, Kristof Terruer – a journalist for Belgian newspaper HLN – claims Hazard has suffered a muscle injury and has not travelled with the Chelsea squad to take on Stoke at the Britannia Stadium today.
Terreur tweeted on Saturday morning: “Belgium are aware that Eden Hazard has suffered a muscle injury. Would confirm yesterday’s reports that he hasn’t travelled to Stoke.
“Eden Hazard is expected to pull out of the Belgium squad for the games vs Greece and Russia, once the extent of his injury is known. #cfc”

It has also been said that Hazard – once relevant testing has been undertaken to assess the full extent of his injury – is expected to pull out of the Belgium squad for the games against Greece and Russia.
This will come as a huge blow to Chelsea and could put a dent in their title hopes should they lose their star man.
Victor Moses is also a doubt for the Blues’ trip to Stoke.
It is suggested he sustained a calf injury in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup and is facing a race to regain his fitness.
