ANTONIO CONTE is reportedly desperate for Chelsea to keep hold of Eden Hazard this summer.
The 26-year-old has been back to his brilliant best at Stamford Bridge this season.
And his performances for the Premier League leaders have caught Zinedine Zidane’s eye.
The Real Madrid gaffer has put Hazard at the top of his transfer wish list.
But Conte is keen to ensure the Belgium international will not be sold before he pens his own new deal.
The Chelsea boss has impressed since taking charge in west London last July.
And the Daily Express claim he’s told Roman Abramovich that he must rebuff interest in the Blues’ star men if he’s to extend his current contract.
Hazard is the player to have been most hotly-tipped to head for the exit door this summer.
However, the chances of Real Madrid snaring him will be slim if a move would leave Conte disgruntled.
Chelsea are set to return to Champions League action next term and Hazard will be crucial to their hopes of securing the coveted trophy.
