Chelsea have agreed to sell Oscar to Shanghai SIPG in a stunning £60million deal.
The Brazilian star found himself out in the cold under the Italian, starting just six games this campaign.
And the Blues decided to cash in with the player set to earn upwards of £400,000-per-week in the Chinese Super League.
“Chelsea Football Club and Shanghai SIPG have agreed terms for the permanent transfer of Oscar,” a club statement read.
“The 25-year-old will join the Chinese Super League team at the beginning of the January transfer window.”
Earlier last week Antonio Conte hinted that the player was unable to challenge his predicament at the club.
“The situation of Oscar will be clear in a few days [laughs], I stop,” Conte claimed after the Blues’ 1-0 victory over Sunderland.
“I always counted on him because I think he is a really good player. But sometimes there are situations that are difficult to face.”
Cesc Fabregas was a player in a similar moment, but the Spaniard has fought to change his fate, assisting Diego Costa’s winner against West Brom and scoring the only goal against the Black Cats.
The Blues have now won 10 straight in the Premier League and move six points clear of Arsenal and Liverpool at the top.
