MICHAEL OWEN reckons Chelsea will make it 12 wins in a row on Boxing Day.
The Blues host Bournemouth looking to set a club record for the most consecutive league victories.
Standing in their way are Bournemouth, who have impressed in their first season in the top flight.
But Owen, speaking to BetVictor, predicted Chelsea to win the game to nil.
He said: “If Chelsea beat Bournemouth on Boxing Day they will set a club record of 12 successive league wins.
“It is hard to see Eddie Howe’s side getting anything from the game.
“The loss of the outstanding Diego Costa through suspension is a blow to the league leaders.
“But this Blues side have a winning mentality and it would be a surprise if the Cherries stopped them in their tracks.”
Costa is missing through suspension with Michy Batshuayi set to deputise up front.
