MICHAEL BALLACK has given his prediction for Chelsea’s trip to Manchester City tomorrow.
The Germany legend who played for the Blues between 2006 and 2010 believes it will be a tight game at the Etihad.
Chelsea have won their last seven Premier League games on the bounce since Antonio Conte changed to using a 3-4-2 formation.
He said: “Hi Chelsea fans, great win against Tottenham and still top of the table.
“But now a really difficult away match against Manchester City. My prediction is 1-1.”
Ballack enjoyed a successful spell at Stamford Bridge winning the League Cup, three FA Cups and the Premier League before returning to the Bundesliga.
Chelsea will be desperate to keep their winning run going and move clear of City, Liverpool and Arsenal at the top of the table.
Ahead of the showdown at the Etihad Conte said: “I’m pleased with the attitude of all the players, those who are playing and those who have been on the bench or in the stands, there is a good atmosphere.
“Tomorrow it’s a really tough game, a great test for us and our formation.
“We know it won’t be easy, we face a really great team with great players and a good idea of football.”
