OSCAR should complete his switch to Shanghai SIPG ahead of the January transfer window.
The Brazil international is closing on a move to the Chinese Super League club after Chelsea accepted a £60m bid.
He revealed earlier this month the deal was 90 per cent done.
And, according to the Guardian, Chelsea expect to confirm the transfer before January 1.
Blues star Willian revealed Oscar has already said his goodbyes.
He said: “He’s a good friend and a great player.
“I wish him and his family all the best.
“A footballer’s career can be quick, and when an offer like this comes in you have to think of your family.
“You want to be prepared for when you have to stop playing.”
Oscar joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Internacional in 2012 and has won three major honours during his time at Stamford Bridge.
