SERGIO AGUERO has named John Terry as one of the toughest players he’s come up against.
Manchester City striker Aguero, who has eight Premier League goals so far this season, thinks the Chelsea skipper is up there with Sergio Ramos.
Aguero joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has become one of the best goalscorers in English football.
He has scored 150 goals for City, 110 of those in the Premier League.
“Nowadays it’s difficult to choose! The most difficult I’ve faced would be (Sergio) Ramos, another one would be (John) Terry, and I can also name a goalkeeper, (Iker) Casillas,” Aguero, speaking to Nissan, the official global automotive sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, said.
Terry is currently out of the Chelsea team with Antonio Conte switching to a back three and favouring David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Blues have won six on the bounce without conceding a goal and have moved to the top of the Premier League following yesterday’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.
Terry played in a development side match this afternoon along with Cesc Fabregas and Michy Batshuayi.
