Revealed: The Chelsea Legend Playing a Vital Role In Antonio Conte’s Success
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed how important former Blues goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini and the rest of his backroom staff have been in helping to create “a good relationship” between him and his players.
Cudicini was appointed as Conte’s assistant following the latter’s arrival at the club this summer, and has since combined the role with his duties as Chelsea ambassador.
The 43-year-old, who made 216 appearances during his 10 years at Stamford Bridge between 1999 and 2009, has been ever-present as his compatriot Conte has steered Chelsea to their current position in the Premier League table of second.
