Cesc Fàbregas hasn’t played much for Chelsea this season following the appointment of Antonio Conte. This is because the Spaniard has either been out of form, injured or simply not considered for selection by the Italian manager.
This led to much speculation in the media claiming the former-Arsenal and Barcelona star could have been on his way to Manchester United in the last summer transfer window.
Although the transfer window was shut and Fàbregas remained with Chelsea, reports linking him with a move away from the club have not gone away. Newer reports claim Chelsea are already planning for life without the Spaniard and are considering making a big money move for Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina international attacker Javier Pastore.
