CHELSEA are reportedly willing to let Ruben Loftus-Cheek leave on loan if he continues to be benched.
The Daily Telegraph say the Blues’ Premier League rivals West Ham are interested in signing the 20-year-old in January – on a loan or permanent basis.
The Hammers are hoping Slaven Bilic’s budding relationship with Antonio Conte could push a deal through.
However, Chelsea remain firm and are not willing to sell Loftus-Cheek.
The Telegraph add that the Blues would consider a loan deal when the transfer window opens should the midfielder remain on the sidelines.
Loftus-Cheek is the club’s most highly-rated young star but has been held back by injuries.
The England Under-21 international has started just two games in all competitions under Conte, both coming in the League Cup.
West Ham, who are also keen on Asmir Begovic and Cesc Fabregas, are eyeing fellow Blues youngster Dominic Solanke as well.
