Juventus have reportedly made an offer to sign Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic on a free next summer if Stephan Lichtsteiner leaves the club.

Lichtsteiner has fallen down the pecking order at Juve since Dani Alves’ summer arrival and is said to be wanted by La Liga giants Barcelona.

The Sun claim that should the Swiss right-back leave at the end of the season, Juve will make a move for Ivanovic.

The Serbian has also found game-time hard to come by this term and looks likely to call time on his Stamford Bridge career soon.

The reports claim the 32-year-old, who is currently on £65,000-a-week at Chelsea, could be handed a three-year deal worth £41,000-a-week by Juve.

Chelsea defender Nathan Ake insists he is ignoring the rumours linking him with a return to Stamford Bridge in January.

Starsport understands Chelsea are considering recalling the 21-year-old this winter following his lack of game time at Bournemouth.

But the Holland Under-21 international told the Daily Echo: “I don’t know where that [Chelsea story] comes from.

“It came from nothing. I ignore it and focus on what I have to do in training – and focus on Bournemouth.

“This is the feeling you want after games you’ve played. You win and go home on the coach feeling happy. That’s what I’ve missed and now it’s back so I’m delighted.”

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth admits he wants to keep Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper is on loan with the League Two outfit until January but Ainsworth is keen to keep him on their books.

He said: “We’ll be looking to keep the best players at this club, and Jamal falls into that category, although Scott Brown is also a good keeper to have at this level if Jamal does go.

“We’ve got some good contacts at Chelsea, and it’s a fantastic relationship to have.

“To be able to bring a player from Chelsea into League Two is something special in itself.”
