The international break is on, and national teams will be taking on each other in friendlies and qualifiers. Players will be training hard to play well for their countries, but some will be staying back at their clubs, and working with the manager for the next fixtures.
One player though, who has been missing in action for both his club as well as country for 10 months, is young Kurt Zouma. The excellent defender who had damaged his knee in a horrific injury while playing against Manchester United last season, missed out on the Euros for France, and has been out for Chelsea too.
He has been training to get back to full fitness, and participated in two matches with the Chelsea U23 team to get up to speed, but completed neither. Antonio Conte had mentioned that the 22 year old would be available after the international break, and now the Frenchman has spoken about it himself.
