Ever since Chelsea switched to the 3-4-3 system, they have been excellent. There’s no two ways about it. But we all know Antonio Conte is not exactly a 3-4-3 manager. He has built his reputation on a 3-5-2 formation, both in Juventus and in the Italian national team.

Chelsea did try to buy a striker in the summer, but could not despite trying a lot. Alvaro Morata was chased, but Real Madrid refused to sell the 24 year old.
