Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy admits that he would be worried if Marcos Alonso picked up an injury this season, while he has also suggested how the Blues could replace Victor Moses if he goes down with a knock.
Alonso and Moses have become key men for Chelsea in the club’s 3-4-3 formation, operating on the flanks and covering vast distances to help the Blues attack and defend.
The pair were again excellent in Chelsea’s 5-0 thrashing of Everton at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League clash on Saturday evening.
While Chelsea are delighting in their good form, concern has been expressed at what the Blues might do if either Alonso or Moses, or both, picked up an injury.
