Defender very frustrated: “I want to start every week, it’s eating me”
As we have already said, most of Chelsea’s talented loanees are quite adept at turning heads at the clubs and leagues they play in. But there are players who have it more difficult than others, even though their talent is never in question.
And one such player is Nathan Ake. The 21-year-old, who has been loaned to AFC Bournemouth, is having a frustrating time, since after having joined the Cherries, he has failed to make his way into the starting eleven. With only 2 appearances in the league and both of them coming from the bench, Ake is clearly disappointed.
The Netherlands U21 international, who can play as a central midfielder, left back as well as centre back, had already completed loan spells at Reading and Watford after failing to make a break into the Chelsea first team.
