After the perfect start to the season, Chelsea’s good form hit a brake. After a draw against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, which Chelsea could have won with better refereeing, the Blues shot themselves in the foot, with successive bad performances in the league. Two back to back league losses against arch rivals Liverpool and Arsenal, left the fans reeling.
But Chelsea did make up for that with a good performance against Hull City this weekend, however, the problems can not be denied. Chelsea’s failure to buy any of their defensive targets like Koulibaly and Romagnoli, have had its most telling effects in defense.
