Soooooo, it was time for some much needed Premier League action after the boredom of International break had put us all to a deep, deep slumber. Finally, the real football is back!
It was last seasons Premier League Champions, Leicester City, who visited the Stamford Bridge in a hope to better there form after suffering from, what might be termed as, “Chelsea syndrome”; the symptoms include losing league games and leaking goals consistently for no explainable reasons.
Antonio Conte, on his part, decided to drop (rest?) Terry, starting with the same team that defeated Hull, one obvious replacement being Pedro in place of Willian in the starting eleven.
With Fabregas and Ivanovic injured, our bench consisted the likes of Batshuayi, RLC, Chalobah, Aina and Dominic Solanke. Isn’t that exciting?
