With Fabregas again being overlooked at the weekend for the 2-0 victory against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium, rumours of him leaving have again started. This is probably the third time already that such rumours have arisen this season, but the telling factor is, the destination club always appears to be the same – AC Milan.
According to reports in Calcio Mercato, the Spanish midfielder may leave in January, so that manager Antonio Conte can bring in a defender who happens to be one of his favourites. The player in question is Mattia Di Sciglio, from AC Milan itself. The reports suggest that a swap deal may be worked out.
