Antonio Conte comments on Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso’s performances, reveals his plans for Pedro

When the team sheet was out for Chelsea’s clash against Hull City, no one, including me, had any idea that we are going to start in a 3-4-3 formation.

With Chelsea conceding 2 or more goals almost every game, something had to be changed and Antonio Conte rolled out with his preferred 3 at the back, just like he did with Juventus and Italy, with a little tweak.

While, Marcos Alonso has played as a Left Wing back before, it was quite surprising to see Victor Moses start in the Right Wing Back role, a position he hasn’t played in his entire career. Fair to say, we were all skeptic and anxious, however, not so much, after watching Victor perform like he did in the first half.
