It was such a good feeling to see Chelsea winning again, having a wonderful start to the season, after last season’s disaster. But Chelsea have been struggling of late. drawing against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium, and then losing to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge itself. It seems that some vital problems still exist.
In these circumstances, the one player whose absence is raising quite a few eyebrows, is the magician hatter named Cesc Fabregas. The Spanish midfielder has been overlooked for the starting lineup in each and every Premier League match this season, only to be brought on when a goal was required urgently.
And every single time he was introduced, Fabregas has changed the game, and that too positively. Assisting the winning goal against Watford at Vicarage Road, also heavily involved in the equalizing goal against Swansea City, Fabregas has always made a difference, whenever a creative spark was missing.
