After the disappointing 2-2 draw against Swansea City in Wales, most Chelsea fans were understandingly frustrated not only because of the two dropped points but also about the manner in which the two goals were conceded. Fast forward six days, and as the final whistle was blown at Stamford Bridge on Friday night- there was more disappointment as a good Liverpool side deservedly defeated Chelsea by 2-1.

Once again the defensive mistakes were there for all to see. The first goal saw three(!) Liverpool players unmarked 6 yards from goal, and the second was subject to a poor clearance from Gary Cahill which led to an amazing once-in-a-lifetime goal for Jordan Henderson. Now that the dust has settled, it’s time to focus on improving the defensive side of things, which has conceded six goals from 12 shots on target this season.

  1. As it stands now the preferred line up should be the 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, instead of the 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 because of the errors the defenders make that leads to goal of the opponents. And i wish we can play the 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 formation. Thank you
