A new goalkeeper has been signed a week ago. Eduardo is a Primeira Liga veteran, and has a Euro Cup winners medal to boast of, but there is no doubt about the fact that Thibaut Courtois is the team’s number one goalkeeper. Eduardo was bought keeping injuries and suspensions in mind, and he will compete with Asmir Begovic for the backup position. But Courtois is the main man between the sticks.
