Chelsea were left disappointed after they managed only a draw against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday. Before the match, Antonio Conte had emphasised on the importance of the match against Swansea, because victory in this match would have meant a boost in confidence ahead of Chelsea’s clash against one of the big guns, Liverpool.

But that was not meant to be, as a defensive mistake, along with some dubious refereeing, made sure that Chelsea left the Liberty Stadium with only a point in the bag. But not to let the mood dampen, one of Chelsea’s stars has sent a rallying cry to the fans ahead of the match against Liverpool.

Cesc Fabregas took to Instagram to try and raise the spirits of the Chelsea fans, who seem somewhat deflated after the draw with Swansea.

  • He deserves to be in tge starting line up. Chelsea plays a completely different game when he’s on the field. I hate seeing him coming into the game 10 minutes before the 90. He deserves much more than that which he’s given. Try benching Matic or Oscar for a game too. Cesc needs game time.

  • Matic stand no chance with Cesc, Conte should pls.be starting him rather than Matic, his vision for passes, control of mid-field surpasses Matic who most times run out of ideas, slow, and hardly recovers when disposes. He should fashion a way out using Diego & Basuiyi together, to ease focus on Diego.

  • He Conte should declare the defense line a state of emergency. Seeing Cahil, Ivanovic, terry, Azeclipa give me go gees pimple each time opponent attack. defense line is always flat & porous. He should bring in Lius in the heart of the defense (STOPPER or STANDING 5) pending recovery of Zuma. Courtious should be advice to always be @ the post & be decisive when coming out i.e (timing) in decision making.
