Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore was making impressive performances last season, turning heads with goals even with limited appearances. In fact, four goals, and almost all of them from the bench made him kind of a super sub.
But with the signing of Michy Batshuayi this summer, Chelsea had the extra striker they wanted, and a good one at that too. Bertrand Traore realised that staying at Chelsea would mean spending most of his time on the bench, and so he took the path Chelsea is famous for – loan move.
Traore decided to move to the Dutch league, where he had been on loan before. But this time, he chose a different club, Ajax instead of Vitesse. And he seems to be very happy with the move, especially since he had his contract extended by Chelsea right before leaving.
