Interview: Oscar talks about his partnership with Costa and Hazard, the 4-2-4/4-3-3 formation
Oscar has been the subject of many a transfer speculation during the pre-season, linking him to Italian giants Inter. The voices of disapproval grew more, after his miserable performance against Real Madrid, when he was played in defensive midfield.
However, Oscar made an awesome comeback, and shut up his critics by scoring a brace against AC Milan, and then again scoring yesterday against Werder Bremen. In both these matches, he was played in a box to box role in a midfield 3.
Yesterday, Chelsea faced Werder Bremen for their last pre-season match, and won 4-2. Chelsea went into halftime with a 3-1 lead, with Hazard, Oscar, and Costa all scoring and also assisting each goal in a fantastic permutation. The fluid attacking was a joy to watch at times.
