Good news: Inter reportedly accepts €25m Chelsea bid, player agreeing terms at Stamford Bridge
Hurrah to the management and the board, because it seems finally Chelsea are up and running in the transfer business again. Numerous reports coming in that Chelsea have agreed a fee for Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. The deal will be made official by Wednesday.
Chelsea have always lacked substantial solidity in midfield ever since the likes of Ballack, then Lampard and eventually Mata left the club. While Fabregas has been great in the past two seasons, he does not seem to be a regular starter in Conte’s plans. Talks of him leaving too were doing the rounds until he himself claimed them to be false earlier today.
Oscar, it seems, has kept Fabregas out of the starting eleven. But Oscar himself has not been at his best at times. And therefore, Don Conte and the management seem to have found a solution to the problem, and that is the 23 year old Croatian midfielder.
