Tonight Chelsea restart their venture to get back to the top of the Premier League against West Ham United. And yet they have failed to assemble the squad they want. Because of the clubs’ reluctance, and also Chelsea’s failure to negotiate smoothly, Chelsea are a few signings short of the squad they should have had by now.
One such unsigned player is Napoli’s center back Kalidou Koulibaly. Napoli’s chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is also a film producer, is trying to hold on to Koulibaly like it is one of his dream movie projects. And if Chelsea still want him, they have to pay a hefty fee of 50 million pounds to Napoli.
