Cesc Fabregas is one of the key players in the Chelsea squad. A world class midfielder, Fabregas joined Chelsea in 2014 from FC Barcelona. Since then, he has scored 11 goals in 94 appearances, providing 32 assists. There isn’t much doubt that the Spaniard is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League with third highest assists in 95, just behind Ryan Giggs and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.
Ever since Conte’s arrival, speculations were suggesting Fabregas was looking away for a move from Chelsea. During pre – season, the midfielder was used by Conte in all the matches, except for the one against Real Madrid, where he had been suspended.
