As Chelsea completed a dramatic comeback and snatched victory from Watford’s hands, we witnessed a totally new passion from the team. It was something from which we quite haven’t recovered yet.
Chelsea were trailing 1-0 to The Hornets at the Vicarage Road and had indeed played a sub-standard game. Pedro had started instead of an injured Willian, and the whole team as a unit was failing to come together. Oscar, starring yet again in a deeper role, failed to impress and so did Matic. It was past 70 minutes when Antonio Conte played his trump card. In came Victor Moses, Michy Batshuayi and Cesc Fabregas for Pedro, Oscar and Nemanja Matic respectively.
