The name Patrick Bamford is familiar to every Chelsea fan. The 22-year-old striker is a part of Chelsea since 2012 when he arrived as a summer signing from Nottingham Forrest.
Seen as a member of the loan army back then, Bamford was immediately sent out on loan to then League One side Milton Keys Dons. Bamford didn’t disappoint, scoring 21 goals in 44 appearances. After a season and a half, he was loaned to Derby County in the Championship, where he scored eight goals in 23 appearances, again failing to disappoint.
The following season became a breakthrough in Bamford’s career when he was loaned out to Championship side Middlesbrough. Patrick Bamford scored 19 goals in 43 appearances for Boro, winning the Championship Player of the Year 2014-15.
