Antonio Conte is keen to add another striker to the team, and Morata has been on his mind right from the start. 23-year-old Alvaro Morata, who just came back to Real Madrid from Juventus in this transfer window, courtesy of a 23 million pound buy-back clause, may be on the move again, this time to London, although the Blues will have to pay big if the move is to materialize.
Chelsea have already seen two bids of £50 million and £62 million rejected for the young Spanish forward by Madrid. But Conte is still keen on Morata and may ask the club to prepare a third bid. According to the Mirror, Real are holding out for a high 67 million pound fee, which may be too much, and force Conte to look elsewhere for his attacking needs.
