Believe it or not, but Tottenham Hotspurs have just defeated Manchester City. That too by a scoreline of 4-1!
Tintin boy Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoreline for City in the first half, but Eric Dier surprisingly equalized for the Spurs just before halftime. (It was offside, that too by 10 meters at least LOL)
Everyone was expecting Pellegrini’s side to blow off Spurs in the second half, but goals from Toby Alderweireld, Harry Kane, and Eric Lamela rather blew off City and co. to potentially reduce the gap between City and Chelsea by 5 points. (That is, if we win against the Magpies tonight!)
Don’t ask me how it happened because I am just as taken aback as you are. Now it’s a golden opportunity for Mourinho to register his first win at St. James Park and get back into the thick of things once again.
Oh, and thank you Spurs, it was very nice of you to turn up for once!
