Although, it’s the Champions League clash against Maccabi Tel Aviv tomorrow, that we should be worried about; but given our dismal/horrible/disappointing/tragic/unMourinho start to the Premier League, the rivals are jumping at any chance to put pressure on us.
This weekend would see us facing off against Arsene Wenger’s side which means, a homecoming for Petr Cech. The Czech International had been with the Blues for so long that he almost became synonymous with Chelsea. Now, plying his trade with Arsenal, the former Blues superstar has warned us, as he looks to add to the Chelsea’s Premier League misery.
Talking to the media, he said:
“I have never played at Stamford Bridge in the visiting team so it will be a new experience for me.
“I go to a familiar place but most important for me will be to win the game. That’s the way it goes.
“Obviously it will be new to play against Chelsea but when you start playing the game the only concern you have is ‘can I play my best game and can we win?’
“In a way it is nice that I spent so much time there. That I know every corner of the stadium and the space, so for me there will be no surprises.”

Obviously, now playing for a bitter opposition, Cech would like to win this game, and honestly, the form we are in these days, it wouldn’t surprise me at all anyway. But it still feels a bit sad, watching our Goalkeeping legend doing everything he can to deny us the 3 points. It used to be every bit opposite of that a few months earlier…
