We are having a most horrendous of starts of our Premier League campaign in the recent times. The players are looking out of depth and are struggling to impose themselves into the game.
While, this might be a bit frustrating for the fans and the managers, this could also be a great opportunity for youngsters like Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Robert Kenedy, and Bertrand Traore to impress Jose Mourinho.
I don’t know about those guys, but Izzy Brown, currently on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, is certainly open to a move back to his parent club in January if the need arises.
As per him:
“It seems that I will stay here for a full year, but Chelsea can recall me in January and Vitesse can also send me back.”

Although, the loan is for the full season, it seems that there is an emergency recall option in his agreement that gives Chelsea the power to call him back in January if they want to do so.
The reason for that can be several. If Chelsea thinks that Brown isn’t getting enough opportunities in the Dutch club, they can call him back before the end of his loan. The other reason could be an injury crisis at the Bridge that would require his services, but, then again, we are not Arsenal, so the chances of that happening are very small.
Right now, all Brown should think of is impressing at Vitesse which would help him in the longer run in staking his claim at the Bridge!
