Okay, so it’s as simple as that; Our next game is going to be against Manchester City and we need our best players fit and ready for the encounter and that possibly includes Thibaut Courtois too!
As we know, Courtois is facing a one-match ban after that dubious straight red against Swansea. Dubious in a sense that many football pundits and experts agree that the straight red decision was a bit harsh with the contact possibly occurring outside the line. Maybe that’s why, Chelsea Football Club agreed to appeal against the one-match ban!
Although, a report published in Daily Star states that:
“Michael Oliver’s decision is set to be upheld, with the FA extremely pleased with the performance of the 30-year-old, who is being viewed as the natural successor to star ref Howard Webb.”
I have followed enough football to have the common sense of not taking any report published in “DailyStar” on face value. But still, it wouldn’t be much of a shock if the decision is upheld by FA, given our history with them.
Oh, and FA were also extremely pleased with Michael Oliver’s performance?
Oh yeah, me too! Just like I have been impressed with Juan Cuadrado’s brilliant goals and assists in the Blue shirt!
