Juan Cuadrado To Leave Chelsea After Pedro’s Transfer?
With Chelsea reportedly set to hijack Man United’s deal for Pedro, we probably have to cut down one winger from the squad to accommodate the Spaniard.
Right now we have Bertrand Traore, Robert Kenedy, Victor Moses, Juan Cuadrado and the regular starting duo of Willian and Eden Hazard and Ramires too if you wanna count him in! That’s just too many wingers in one squad! If Pedro arrive at the Bridge, we will have to let go at least one of them.
So, who will it be? Eden Hazard? Yeah, right! 100 Million pounds for either leg it is!
Juan Cuadrado is most probably the weakest link in the above list. The Colombian have had eight months to settle down at Chelsea and have some kind of impact with the football on the field, but so far, the winger has only managed to lose the ball or fall over, just about every time he has tried to pass or shoot or run or stand there admiring the Stamford Bridge view!
I reckon the manager must be as frustrated as the fan with Cuadrado’s performance or lack of it, for that matter. So, what’s stopping us from packing his bag and launching him over the moon for few quids?
“Chelsea are considering relaxing their stance over Juan Cuadrado in order to get their money back.
“Cuadrado has failed to impress since joining from Fiorentina for £26.1m in January and initially the club insisted they would only let him leave if they sell him for the same amount.
“However, now they may be persuaded to accept a loan with the option to buy, in the same way, Mohamed Salah was allowed to join Roma this summer.
“Juventus have already expressed an interest in the Colombia international, having failed with enquiries for Ramires and Oscar.”

Well, that’s the reason he still wears the Blue shirt and comes on at the 70th minute to lose the ball and fall over!
It’s great to hear that Chelsea are considering relaxing their stance on the Colombian even if it means cutting their losses on the winger. Juventus have previously shown interest in bringing him back to Serie A on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent.
As we already know, Serie A has the magical power to turn a decent winger into a Ronaldoesque player, so this could be a great news for Chelsea if Cuadrado does lit up the Italian League like Mohamed Salah did last season. Hopefully, we can offload him ASAP!
