Juan Cuadrado loan move to Juventus is all but done with the Colombian winger already arriving in Italy for a medical.
The former Fiorentina superstar joined the Blues earlier this year but since has failed miserably at the Bridge. It’s safe to say that the switch to a physical Premier League hasn’t been all that smooth for him, so a loan move back to Italy makes sense.
Meanwhile, Cuadrado was definitely delighted on the prospect of joining the Italian Champions and thinks the move will help him resurrect his career:
“We all know that Juve is a great club, among the best teams in Europe. They have everything to win the Scudetto (Serie A),” Cuadrado said on the club’s official website.
“I hope I can give Juventus my best, 100 percent. I didn’t expect to receive such a warm welcome from the fans in Italy but they have always welcomed me with open arms and that makes me very happy.
“The fans’ support will give me further motivation to do well.”
“The league has only started and we hope we can defend the title.
“I want to prepare well for every game and then the coach will decide. I just have to work hard and play my game.”

The loan fee is reported to be in the region of 1.5-2 Million Euro plus an option to make the deal permanent at 25 Million Euros.
Serie A is definitely a shade below Premier League in terms of physicality and pace and maybe that’s why players like Mohamed Salah and Juan Cuadrado find it easier to express themselves in Italy. Hopefully, the pacy winger finds his form back at Juventus making it easier for us to offload him at the end of the season!
