Chelsea vs Swansea – Blues Possible Starting Eleven

Common! Rise up folks! The Premier League weekends are back!

The defending champions Chelsea are taking on the Swans as they look to retain the Premier League title! On the injury front, we might be missing our star striker on the pitch but he may feature on the bench.

Here’s how the Blues are expected to lineup against the Welsh side:

GK – THIBAUT COURTOIS

The Belgian will take his position ahead of Asmir Begovic as we kick start our season without Cech for the first time in a decade!

CB – JOHN TERRY AND GARY CAHILL

The usual suspects will start again alongside each other in a hope to keep a clean sheet at the Bridge

FB – CESAR AZPILICUETA AND BRANISLAV IVANOVIC

These two are the only Full-Backs we have in our line-ups so they surely start on either wing.

CM – NEMANJA MATIC AND CESC FABREGAS

Again, the most lethal partnership in the midfield, the duo will look to carry on from where they left off last season!

LW – EDEN HAZARD

The best player in the Premier League will look to get back into his groove after a mixed pre-season!

RW – WILLIAN

Victor Moses provides strong competition, but Willian is expected to retain his place on the Right Wing ahead of the Nigerian.

CAM – OSCAR

Hopefully, this is the season, Brazilian realizes his full potential as he starts in the No.10 role for Chelsea!

STRIKER – LOIC REMY

If Costa is fit he starts without any doubt. But if he isn’t, it’s a toss up between Remy and Falcao for the starting spot!
