Remember how Jose Mourinho handed Dominic Solanke the 35 Number shirt last month and advised him not to go on loan?
We supposedly had plans to integrate the youngster into our first team squad, but that doesn’t look likely now.
According to reports published in Goal.com:
“Dominic Solanke will be training with Vitesse from Tuesday on. The attacker has a fine reputation as a proven goalscorer and represented England at Under-16, U-17 and U-18 level. Club and player hope to agree terms shortly.”
Vitesse even posted this picture of Dominic Solanke on twitter:

So, Dominic Solanke would be the fifth Chelsea player to join Vitesse on a season-long loan this season after Izzy Brown, Nathan Allen, Lewis Baker and Danilo Pantic.
Personally, I was hoping to watch Dominic Solanke start for us in the cup games this season but that’s not gonna happen now. Hopefully, he can bang some 20 odd goals for the Eredivisie side and prove his worth. Well, the Vitesse games are going to be lot more fun now!
