Salah Doesn’t Belong At Chelsea – Jose Mourinho
The soap opera of “Mohamed Salah and the case of madness” is reaching its end now unless, Fiorentina decides to start a new season of the popular show and then we just have to sit back and watch the whole saga, yet again!
The situation has already gotten complicated with Fiorentina presumably demanding Mattia Destro on loan from Roma if, Roma wants to loan/buy the services of “Egyptian Messi”!
Reportedly, Roma isn’t so keen on sending Destro on loan and wants to sell the Striker altogether. Fiorentina, of course, doesn’t agree! So, yes, the situation is still pretty much complicated and full of twists. You see, it has all the ingredients of a successful and famous soap opera!
After Salah’s brilliant performance with the Viola, if you ever thought that Mourinho might consider including Salah in his squad, you were wrong! Speaking after our win against PSG, Mourinho gave his verdict on Salah:
“He doesn’t belong to my squad and he’s not staying here.
“The important thing is that he plays like he did at Fiorentina, so [I’m] happy with him going on a loan.
“Italian football is difficult football to play, especially for attacking players. So if it’s not Fiorentina it’s Roma or Inter or Juve – I don’t know. Maybe he has a loan.
“He’s a good boy and a good player. He needs more top-level football so I’m happy with any decision him and the club make.”

For all the complication involved in this whole saga, Mourinho made it crystal clear with just one simple sentence; Salah doesn’t belong at Chelsea! Let’s see if Fiorentina has anything to say on that matter. Another suing, maybe?
