Chelsea’s Strongest Possible Line-up Against Sunderland: Featuring 2 Youngsters

Here we are now, final game of this wonderful double winning season.

Over the season Chelsea played some amazing as well as awful football but the season ends on a very good note. Talking about the lineup and tactics; Chelsea’s pre-season or post-season has already begun as Jose is using a few youngsters and experimenting with his tactics since past 2 games. For this game Fabregas, Hazard, Zouma and Ramires won’t play while Jose has promised that he will use as many youth players as possible.

Here is how the blues many line up on the trophy collection day:

Goalkeeper – Cech

After more than 490 games, 200+ clean sheets and countless legendary moments this might be Cech’s final game in Chelsea colors. This game will be a perfect farewell for the legend.

Full Backs – Ivanovic & Azpilicueta

Branislav has played almost every game of this season and he has been pretty amazing so there is no chance that he will be benched for the final game of the season. Azpilicueta has also been a major asset in this campaign and he was benched in the recent games in order to give some playing time to Filipe Luis, but since Luis was awful against West Brom there are very strong chances that Azpilicueta might start.

Center Backs – Terry & Cahill

This pair is unarguably the best in Premier League and they have always given a top notch performance irrespective of the conditions. Since Zouma is injured Terry and Cahill are going to be the best possible option in the middle of the defense.

Central Midfield – Matic & Loftus-Cheek

This duo failed to display their potential in the previous game because Fabregas was sent off and Loftus was moved to an advanced attacking position. Loftus was great in both his games while Matic has been amazing every since he joined Chelsea, hence the chances of this duo to start are quite good.

Attacking Midfield – Willian

With Fabregas suspended and Oscar sidelined due to injury Willian may start as an attacking midfielder. He has played in this position before against Leicester and his performance was very good.

Right Wing – Cuadrado

With Willian in the middle Cuadrado might start on the right flank. He gave a decent performance in his recent games and this start will be a great opportunity for the Columbian to display his abilities in front of Jose.

Left Wing – Brown

Since Hazard is out with a dental problem this lad might start the game on the left wing. He had a really amazing season with the youth team of Chelsea and it will be very exciting for us to see him make his first Premier League start.

Striker – Costa

His performance against West Brom was awful but Jose has promised that Diego will start this game upfront. Since the game is at Stamford Bridge Costa will be very pumped up and we can also expect a goal or two from him.
