The first and the only news of concern for the Blues is that young Nathan Ake, who is frequently among the substitutes for the game has picked up a hamstring injury and will have to sidelined for few weeks.

Mourinho expects the game to be tight because West Brom will believe that they can get a result from this fixture as they did in the last season, but he expects to win this game.

Coming to Diego Costa, it is good news that he has recovered completely after working with the physio during the international break and is raring to go. Despite Costa being just one booking away from a domestic suspension, he has said that he will not be protecting Costa.

Rumours surrounding Petr Cech have also been cleared. Neither a club has come up with a proposal for him nor did he come to Mourinho with a desire to accept any proposal. So, Cech’s not going anywhere for now.

Andre Schurrle has also recovered, but Ramires and Fabregas are not in a brilliant condition, but he hopes that they can play.

When asked about team selection, he said that it will be done only keeping West Brom in mind despite the busy schedule ahead and he in fact says that he loves the busy winter period in England although it might affect the teams in the European competitions.

So that’s what Mourinho had to say from the press conference as we look forward to a good game tomorrow after a frustrating international break.
