Don’t start blaming me for this, cause it’s not my opinion. However, my job is to report what others say (and sometimes don’t say) about our club and the players.
This time its Arsenal legend Paul Merson, who thinks Cesc Fabregas has all rights to celebrate if he scores against the side that made him what he is.
“I don’t think he’ll have a problem at all [facing Arsenal],” Merson told Sky Sports News.
“Arsenal didn’t want him. So if Arsenal don’t win… I’d be shocked if he scored and didn’t celebrate.
“If you’re a Chelsea fan, you’d be disappointed if he didn’t celebrate.
“It is the best feeling in the world scoring a goal.”
Merson questioned Wenger’s decision not to re-sign Fàbregas despite having a litany of talented midfielders already at his disposal.
He added: “I don’t know how you can turn Fàbregas down. I know we’ve got [Aaron] Ramsey and [Jack] Wilshere, but they’re not Fàbregas. He improves the team.”
Not that I disagree though.
